DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT


Hemingford Public Schools is located in Hemingford, a Panhandle town of about 950 people. Hemingford District #10 is composed of an Elementary School (K-6)and High School (7-12). Both the elementary and high school have their own principals. The elementary principal also serves as K-12 Director of Instructional Services to coordinate assessment, curriculum, and staff development. Our elementary school has 217 students and the high school has 182. We have two resource teachers for the district. We also have a counselor that works with all students of the District and a full time nurse on staff.
