DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

A very welcoming facility, Lynch Public School, serving village and rural areas of Boyd, Knox and Holt Counties in Northeast Nebraska, generally enrolls near 16 pupils in the high school grades, near 12 in the junior high, and near 25 in the elementary grades. Graduation rates are high, generally 100%, and the high percentage of graduates who go on to higher education traditionally receive scholarships from the community in addition to the numerous academic grants and help from Regents scholarships as frequently earned. Our dual credit opportunities are exceptional for upper class students. A diverse academic program is offered for students throughout the school, including by way of Distance Learning. A large percentage of the pupils, sometimes in excess of 20%, are composed of Foster and Wards of the State, whom the school and community are pleased to welcome.
