DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT


Elm Creek Public Schools is home to approximately 350 students in grades PK-12. There are 34 teachers, 12 classified staff, and 7 paraprofessionals serving the ECPS students. Extracurricular activities include sports and fine & performing arts in the Fort Kearny Conference. The mission of Elm Creek Schools is to educate all students uses a whole child approach to help all young people become productive and engaged citizens. Our students will be problem solvers and creative thinkers and, able to make positive choices about their education, future, and the community. We have expanded our course offerings to include a large variety of college courses from the University of Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. We also offer an Agriculture Education program along with FFA. Elm Creek is a progressive community located approximately 15 miles west of Kearney, NE on Highway 30 and two miles from Interstate 80. A new 7-12 secondary building was opened in August 2010.
