DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Sidney Public School District has six attendance centers that educate approximately 1350 students in grades Pre-K-12. In addition to providing a solid foundation in the core subjects, the District also offers before/after/summer school enrichment programs for students in grades K-6, dual credit secondary course offerings, and a wide variety of extra-curricular programs. We are continuing to build a strong 7-12 Career Pathways program that allows student job shadowing and internship opportunities. Student performance has been strong as evidenced by above average ACT and state assessment scores. The District employs an excellent staff of approximately 105 teachers, 10 administrators and 42 paraprofessionals who work with students on a daily basis. The District is Advanced Education accredited.
