The Creek Valley District is a Rural Consolidated Class III School serving the communities of Chappell and Lodgepole. Chappell is located on Highway 30 in Deuel County. Lodgepole is located on Highway 30 in Cheyenne County. The 2010 census indicated a population of 929 people in Chappell, and a population of 318 in Lodgepole. The district consists of 3 facilities, K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. The K-4 and 9-12 facilities are located in Chappell. The 5-8 facility is located in Lodgepole. The 2012-13 enrollment for the Creek Valley School District was 251. The 2014-2015 enrollment is 234. The district offers a wide range of student services and activities.
