Elkhorn Public Schools is a rapidly growing suburban school district located on the west edge of the Omaha Metro area. Enrollment continues to climb by more than six percent each year, and the District continues to build new schools to accommodate the growing student population. Elkhorn Public Schools anticipates an enrollment of more than 8,500 students in 2017-18, making it the seventh largest school district in the state. The mission of Elkhorn Public Schools is to unite students, families, educators, and the community to ensure a challenging and enriching academic environment that inspires students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners. The Elkhorn School District works to maintain educational excellence at all schools by adopting a philosophy of continuous improvement.
