DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

Burwell Public Schools are NSAA Class C2/D1 school district fully accredited by both the State Department of Education and AdvancED Accreditation. Burwell Public Schools is a K-12 system with an elementary attendance center and a Pre School partnership with Central Nebraska Community Services. Burwell Jr. Sr. High school operates on a modified block, four period day, with an ENCORE period at the end of the day for additional student instruction.
