DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Minden Public Schools strive to develop productive and responsible citizens. To meet this goal, we help students to master basic academic skills, to understand themselves and their society, to respect others, to lead healthful lives, and to be creative and expressive. Our district includes four buildings: a preschool, East Elementary (K-3), C.L. Jones Middle School (5-8), and Minden High School (9-12). Our total valuation is $1,415,050,332, and our total levy is $0.729536. We have 815 students from Kearney, Franklin, and Adams counties. An estimated 70-80% of these students pursue a postsecondary education.
