Wallace School District 65-R,is located in Wallace, Nebraska which is 25 miles south of Sutherland, Nebraska and Interstate I-80 in southwest Lincoln County. Many of the students attending Wallace School follow in their parents' and grandparents' footsteps in attending a school that was established in 1917. Approximately 13% of the Wallace student population is Hispanic and almost 12% of the student population is classified as an English language learner. 24% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch prices. 25% of the students attend Wallace as enrollment option students. 13% of Wallace students receive special education services. Wallace residents believe that the future of the children in the community is very important and the vitality of the town relies on the success of the school and its student population.
