Palmyra District OR-1 is a K-12 Accredited School District located 15 miles southeast of Lincoln, NE. It is a consolidated district serving the communities of Palmyra, Bennet and Douglas. The district has an elementary building in Bennet, and a junior-senior high building in Palmyra. The students and families come from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds. The school district is organized as a K-6, 7-12 school. Starting in 2007-2008, an early childhood preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds was implemented. District OR-1 Mission Statement: Together, we prepare our students to successfully meet the challenges of the future.
