DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT


The CPS District features five elementary facilities, one middle school, and one high school. The elementary schools serve approximately 1,500 students in grades K-5, the middle school serves 1100 students in grades -8, and the high school serves 1,100 students in grades 9-12. The middle school provides a well-rounded education for adolescents in language arts, math, science, and social studies. Along with core classes, exploratory courses are offered in Music, rt, STEM, FCS, Technology and Spanish. The high school offers AP Classes, many dual credit classes, multiple levels of German and Spanish, a wide variety of career and technology classes with an emphasis on STEM integration, and many fine arts courses in instrumental music, vocal music, and theater. A continuum of ELL and SPED services and programs are provided to meet individual student needs. Extra-Curricular activities are abundant and off a variety of ways for students to excel in many areas.
