DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT


The Wilber-Clatonia School District is a Class III school system encompassing of the communities of Wilber (pop. 1800) and Clatonia (pop. 250) and the adjacent rural areas. The economic base is dependent on production agriculture, two meat and grain processing plants and light manufacturing industries. Total PK-12 enrollment is approximately 585 with an experienced staff of 42 teachers and 4 administrators. The school is categorized as a C-2 school system by the Nebraska School Activities Association for the purpose of activities. The mission of the district is to help each student be the best person they can be.
