The mission of Springfield Platteview Community Schools (SPCS) is to ensure that all students acquire 21st century skills and behaviors necessary for each student to succeed now and into his/her future. To meet this end, a collaborative culture is in place to continually review and improve student performance, curriulum, extra curricular activities, and teacher/administrative development. Springfield Platteview Community Schools is a Class B, AdvancED District Accredited school system of approximately 1100 students in grades Pre-kindergarten through twelve. The district is comprised of two pre-schools; two elementaries, grades K-6; one junior high, grades 7-8; and one high school. SPCS is approximately 97 sq. mi. south of the Omaha metro area. The district includes the communities of La Platte, Springfield and Westmont.
