DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT
Minatare Public Schools have a total student enrollment of 203 students, in two separate facilities. Grades K-6 attend the elementary building at 805 Seventh Street, Minatare, Nebraska. The current enrollment at this building is 99 students. Grades 7-12 attend the secondary school building at 1107 Seventh Street, Minatare, Nebraska. The current enrollment at the secondary building is 104 students. There are twenty seven certificated staff members and sixteen support staff members in the district, with the elementary building employing twenty and the secondary building employing seventeen staff members. Six staff members are district-wide employees. A part-time nurse is employed by the district. Four staff members are shared by both buildings. There are no bus routes in the district. Two buses and three vans transport students and faculty to various activities. Three faculty members are used as district bus drivers. The district does run an option bus to Gering.
