DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT


PK-12 enrollment is 244 students, with a teaching staff of 26. Elementary is a K-6, with one section of each grade level per teacher. At the secondary level, there are two teachers for each of the core curriculum areas. A wide variety of learning opportunities exist in the areas of Fine Arts, Industrial Tech, Applied Arts, Business Ed, Foreign Language, Computer Tech, and Phys Ed. Math is an accelerated program. Eighth grade students take Algebra I. This allows additional upper level courses in Math to be taken during the junior and senior years. Freshmen may take Biology and General Science. This allows additional upper level courses in Science to be taken during the junior and senior years. A Standard or College Prep diploma is available. Students earning a College Prep diploma must complete additional courses in Math, Science, Foreign Language, and Computer Technology, as well as an advanced English course.
