DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT
Blair Community Schools, one of the 25 largest school districts in Nebraska, encompasses over 142 square miles. Current student enrollment is 2,200 plus students. The District includes three PK-2 schools: North, South, and Deerfield; one Grades 3-5 school: Arbor Park; one Grades 6-8 school: Gerald Otte Blair Middle School; and one 9-12 school: Blair High School. All programs ensure that students can develop their potential. Students are challenged in a core curriculum of language arts, social studies, science, and mathematics. Additional courses are offered in fine arts, physical education, health, and career and technical education. Extra-curricular organizations, activities, and athletic teams are part of the strong co-curricular program. “A promise of quality” is something that continues to be a hallmark of the Blair Community Schools.
