DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT


Winside Public Schools is home to 223 students in grades PK-12. There are 32 teachers, 11 classified staff, and 5 paraprofessionals serving the Winside students. Winside's focus on 21st century learning leads them into a 1to1 Chrome-book Initiative grades 7-12. There are also approximately 70 i Pads and 30 Chrome-books available for the elementary classrooms. Extracurricular activities include sports, fine arts & performing arts in the renowned Lewis & Clark Conference. Winside is an active community, in a rural agriculture area, located approximately 20 miles east of Norfolk, NE on Highway 35 and 12 miles west of Wayne, NE.
