DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Cardinal Elementary is a community working together to educate lifelong learners where we strive to develop well rounded students by the time they leave our building. Our primary mission is student achievement but our staff is also very purposeful in making sure we see each student as a whole. We are proactive in fostering positive behaviors such as showing respect, being a good friend and building future leaders for our community. We utilize the Professional Learning Community (PLC) model to do much of this work. Our staff collaborates on a weekly basis to discuss students academic and other needs and when students are not making progress we are quick to intervene through our MTSS model. We have a very active PTO that helps build activities for families to get together and enjoy the elementary experience. The Beyond the Bell program offers after school service on-site during the school year.
