DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Enrollment at Bell Field for the 2016-2017 school year was about 295 students K-4, with an average class size of 20. Bell Field Elementary is committed to student growth, continuous improvement, and collaboration. In addition to core instruction, students engage in art, guidance, media, music, physical education, and Reading Recovery. Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBiS) strategies provide school wide expectations and learning opportunities for all students. Bell Field offers extended learning opportunities in the areas of reading & math through Bulldog Learning Club, Coding Club, and through a 21st Century Afterschool Program which provides opportunities for students to remain engaged at school until 6:00 PM. Parent involvement events promote student/parent engagement and tips for supporting learning at home. Bell Field has an active PTA which supports student learning in a variety of ways by sponsoring events and providing funding for field trips. Chris Raasch,Principal
