DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Johnson Crossing Academic Center is located at 200 Johnson Rd. Approximately 42 certified and 20 classified faculty and staff provides educational and support services to approximately 700 students. Speech/Language and English Language Learner programs are provided at the school as well. We are home to a well rounded exploratory curriculum with students receiving instruction in art, music, and physical education. This complements a strong set of core classes including 70 minute class periods and a dedicated 40 minute period for enrichment and interventions. Johnson Crossing is home to High Ability Learner programs such as Robotics, Coding, and Future Cities. The average class size at Johnson crossing is 24 students per class and we have a very safe and caring learning environment that has been established by our dedicated staff. We have high expectations for staff and students and everyone that enters the building knows that at Johnson Crossing we are safe, respectful, and responsible!
