DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

St. Libory School is a part of the Grand Island Northwest School District, as a result of the passage of LB126 and had 103 kids during the 2016/2017 year. The school is located approximately 12 miles north of Grand Island on Highway 281. The staff consists of 11 full time staff members with 2 of those individuals being shared with the Chapman school. All of these staff members are certified. We have one full time special ed instructor, one full time secretary, one shared counselor, one shared nurse, one full time and one half time paraprofessional that work in our building. Mobility in our district is low due to the fact that we have a very stable school population and the St. Libory community is stable with the possibility for growth.
