Everett Elementary School serves a diverse student body from preschool through fifth grade. We celebrate our diversity and believe that it makes us stronger, more resilient and a school in which everyone is always learning. Everett Elementary School has been a Title I School since 1994-1995. We are focused on improving academic achievement through Professional Learning Community (PLC) work, professional development, parent engagement and community partnerships. About 87% of our 500 students are on free/reduced lunch, 46% of our students are identified as English Language Learners, about 71% are identified as students of color, and our mobility rate is 27%. Our strengths include a wonderful diversity of students whose families speak 13 languages. Sixty percent of our students come from families whose first language is other than English. Tremendous effort by students, families, staff and community members ensures a focus and commitment to student academic achievement.
