DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Plattsmouth Community School District (PCS) is located in a rural community along Highway 75 that is within 10 minutes of Bellevue and 20 minutes of Omaha. This provides citizens with rural living that is in close proximity to the amenities of the Omaha metropolitan area. Plattsmouth is accredited through AdvancED. We have approximately 1700 students in PreK-12. We have one early childhood center, one elementary school, one middle school, one high school, an adult education/GED program, the Plattsmouth Academic, Curriculum, and Equipment Complex, and the Plattsmouth Learning and Universal Support Center. There is a strong emphasis on academics, culinary arts, fine arts, and athletics for students. Go to www.pcsd.org, and check out everything that we have to offer in our district. We encourage you to call the main office and request a tour of our facilities. You may also send a tour request to rhasty@pcsd.org. Thank you for your interest in the Plattsmouth Community Schools.
