The mission of Beatrice Public Schools, a collaborative partnership of students, staff, families, and community, is to guarantee all students achieve academic excellence and develop responsible citizenship by providing aligned, rigorous curriculum and high-quality instruction that utilizes 21st Century tools in a system that is measurable among the best in the nation. Beatrice Public Schools is a PK-12 district with about 2100 students who attend four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Assessment of student achievement occurs at the elementary, middle, and high school grade levels for reading, math, science, and social studies skills. For grades K-12, the district utilizes the MAP assessment along with the PLAN assessment in grade 10. This information combined with classroom assessments gives a complete picture of how our students are performing.
