Pierce is a growing, progressive community of nearly 2,000 people located in Northeast Nebraska, 12 miles Northwest of Norfolk. Pierce Public Schools has a Preschool through 12 student population of approximately 625 students. The district operates separate elementary and high school attendance centers located in Pierce. The district provides a comprehensive program of instruction, supplemented by a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The district is committed to being on the forefront of technology and is in its tenth year of a 1 to 1 laptop initiative for seventh through twelfth grade students as well as a comprehensive elementary technology program..
