DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Hastings Senior High serves approximately 1,000 students in grades nine through twelve. The Senior High's academic, vocational, special education,English Language Learner,alternative education and activity programs provide all students with the opportunity to participate and excel. In the regular curriculum, students have the ability to enroll in honors and advanced placement courses. Hastings Senior High School has also made strong connections with post secondary institutions to provide dual credit and career pathway options. Through special education programming, Hastings Senior High provides services to some students through age 21. This includes a Project Search program in coordination with Educational Service Unit #9 and Mary Lanning Memorial Healthcare. All programs are focused on providing students the skills, knowledge and behaviors to be productive citizens and life-long learners.
