DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Neligh-Oakdale Elementary School utilizes a K-6 organizational pattern. A preschool program with both 3 and 4 year olds is operated with approximately 40 students. The projected census reflects a slight decrease in student population over the next few years. The elementary grades are housed in two buildings. Grades PK-2 attend at the West Ward facility located on the west side of Neligh. Grades 3-6 classrooms are located on the first floor of the junior-senior high building. Kindergarten students attend classes five days a week utilizing a full day schedule. Special needs students have access to Title I and special education services. Programs are provided for high ability learners. All student have access to computers within the classroom.
