DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
The district has land in three counties: Boone, Platte, and Nance with a combined evaluation of $436,136,432 during the 2015-2016 school years. The school district completed an addition to the building to house the Art, Special Education, Pre-School rooms, as well as a school/community fitness center.During the summer of 2013 library walls were erected, $52,000. Summer 2013, installation of a sprinkler system was complete, $185,000. Also, the gymnasium received a new speaker system and bleachers.In summer of 2015, high school air conditioning and bathrooms were renovated. The main source of income in the district is farming and farm-related businesses. The instructional program of St. Edward Public School is designed to meet the needs of the students as to interest, graduation requirements, and post-graduation goals. Students are exposed to and learn the most recent technological advances including computers,IPADS, Mobis, clickers, and interactive white boards.
