DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

A very welcoming facility, Lynch Public School, serving village and rural areas of Boyd, Knox and Holt Counties in Northeast Nebraska, generally enrolls near 25 pupils in the high school grades, near 15 in the junior high, and near 30 in the elementary grades. Graduation rates are high, generally 100%, and the high percentage of graduates who go on to higher education traditionally receive scholarships from the community in addition to the numerous academic grants and help from Regents scholarships as frequently earned. Our dual credit opportunities are exceptional for upper class students. A diverse academic program is offered for students throughout the school, including by way of Distance Learning. A large percentage of the pupils, sometimes in excess of 20%, are composed of Foster and Wards of the State, whom the school and community are pleased to welcome.
