DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Boyd County Public Schools, organized in June 2017, includes the rural/farming/ranching communities of Butte, Spencer, Bristow, Lynch and Naper, in Boyd County, located in north-central Nebraska. This merger was executed due to declining enrollment. Pre-School through fourth grade students are located at the Lynch Attendance center in self-contained classrooms in Preschool and Kindergarten, and combined grades in the 1st/2nd, and the 3rd/4th grades. Boyd County Public Schools Elementary has conducted an all day kindergarten program since its organization. All fifth through twelfth graders are in departmentalized classrooms located at the Spencer and Lynch Attendance Centers. Boyd County Public Schools operates a Preschool program at the elementary attendance centers in an effort to serve our early childhood population.
