DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Bryant Elementary is a school-wide Title I building with about 250 students and is located in southeast Kearney. It is home to many second and third generation students and has educational programs that support the needs of a diverse student population through an English Language Learner program, special education programs, reading and math support programs, before and after school programming, as well as a Personal Skills Development Room. Bryant Elementary also supports the social and emotional learning of the students through modeling the “8 Keys of Excellence" as well as follows a weekly plan through a program called “Mission Monday". Bryant was the recipient of the “National Blue Ribbon Award” in 2010 for helping to close the achievement gap. Bryant Elementary is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and responsible environment where students reach their full potential. Their motto is to “Nurture, Educate, and Inspire All Students.”
