DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Bryant Elementary is located in southeast Kearney. It is a school-wide Title I building with about 250 students. It has many educational programs that support the needs of a diverse student population through an English Learner program, special education programs, reading support programs, before and after school programming, as well as a Personal Skills Development Program. The school is filled with teachers who are equipped with a variety of instructional strategies to reach the needs of every child. Bryant Elementary also supports the social and emotional learning of students through modeling the “8 Keys of Excellence" as described by Quantum Learning, as well as follows a program called “Mission Monday", which gives the students a weekly goal to be intentional about making a difference in the lives of others. The mission statement of the school is to "teach and inspire all children to become caring and committed adults that are dedicated to making the world a better place."
