Park Elementary, built in 1952, sits in the beautiful Harmon Park, known for its lavish rock garden with waterfalls. Park has earned its reputation for being a school that values the development of the whole child, strong academic achievement, parent involvement, as well as a supportive and caring learning environment. Physical Education, Art, Music, Guidance, Library , Technology and Recess are all emphasized for being critical to the overall development of the young child. Park’s staff believes strongly in developing young leaders. Various student leadership opportunities exist from recycling, cafeteria helpers, and safety patrol to the Park Ambassadors (P.A.R.K.). The school offers programs for children who are strong academic achievers and students with special needs. We also have before and after school programs for Fitness and Girls' Math.
