Glenwood Elementary is located just north of Kearney near the intersections of Highways 10 and 40. Glenwood became part of the Kearney School District in 1989 which provides all of the supports of a large school district while maintaining the personal and individual attention of a small school. The average enrollment is approximately 135 students. Glenwood students thrive with the strong support of the Glenwood families and the Kearney community. Glenwood’s mission is to inspire and empower students to impact the world through an emphasis on both academic and personal growth for every student.
