Sunrise serves approximately 500 students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Sunrise Middle School is dedicated to providing students with a strong academic program emphasizing respect, responsibility, resourcefulness and safety. Sunrise believes a safe, caring and structured environment contributes to student learning, and teachers at Sunrise use varied instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of students. Besides the core subject offerings of mathematics, social studies, science, language and reading, Sunrise offers students a variety of opportunities in fine arts, technology, industrial technology, family and consumer science, physical education, and extracurricular activities to enhance every student’s opportunity for success and fulfillment in life.
