DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

KEC houses KPS Preschool programming along with an alternative education program and special education classrooms. Bright Futures Preschool Program serves students from 18 months to 5 years of age. Seven classrooms serve approximately 100 students in half and full day sessions. Staff members are certified in early childhood education. The program meets the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines, Rule 11, and undergoes quality reviews by Nebraska Department of Education and by Sixpence Monitoring. The Alternative Education program provides individual academic attention to at risk students who are dedicated to completing their high school diploma.
