Weeping Water Public Schools has just recently adopted the middle school concept for grades 6 through 8. Our middle school is dedicated to improving the academic achievement level of all students by providing a challenging, engaging, supportive and safe learning environment for our students. A team of teachers provide instruction in math, science, social studies and English. An Explore class allows for additional instruction in study skills, reading, and/or social skills. Explore courses include art, computer, family/consumer science, industrial technology, PE/Health, music, speech/drama, and Spanish. The staff work very hard at ensuring all students have the academic and social skills necessary to be successful in high school and beyond. The free and reduced rate is 27.27%, which is below the state average. The mobility rate is 3.46%,and the special education percentage is 7%, both are also below the state average.
