DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Wynot Public Schools is a progressive PK-12 school system located in a small rural area in Northeast Nebraska. We consist of students from several small farming communities. We have a modified 4-day school week, which has proved advantageous to students, staff and families and in regards to the budget. Integration of technology and its use via distance education is utilized. The use of distance education has increased and improved the curriculum for students in grades 8-12. In the future we look at providing distance education opportunities to students in grades K-7 as well.
