DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Chase County Schools is a K-12 Class III district located in Imperial, Nebraska. We are a rural district which encompasses nearly 750 square miles of southwest Nebraska. We have an enrollment of approximately 200 students in grades 5-8. The middle school is Title One School-wide. The average class size is 19. The middle school offers many programs for students such as: Exploratory classes, High Ability Learning classes, a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support program is being put in place for the 2017-18 school year, English as a Second Language program, Migrant programs, and Title One classes. Parents and community members have many opportunities to enhance student learning and take part in the education of the students as volunteers and mentors. TeamMates was started in 2015 with the fifth grade students.
