DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Sidney Public Schools - Senior High provides a well-rounded education for students who wish to advance their education either in a four-year college, University, or through a technical program. The District shares staff with Western Nebraska Community College, Chadron State College and Nebraska Wesleyan in order to extend the opportunities for students. The district has invested resources that allow students to develop skills in using technology and academic growth. Small class sizes allow for educators to develop a relationship with the students and to provide for meeting individual needs. Inclusive Special Education assistance is available as well as pull out classes. Students participate in sports, fine arts, clubs, and organizations and serve as assistants to teachers. A school to work program is available. The Career Pathways program allows students job shadowing and internship opportunities.
