DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Fisher’s 24 is an elementary building that currently has approximately 70 students in grades k-8. It is located 5 miles north of Schuyler. The rural, close knit setting provides an outstanding learning environment. The staff does an outstanding job of teaching 2 and sometimes 3 class levels in each classroom. The goal for School Improvement focuses on interventions to improved reading. School year 2006-2007 was the first year that Fisher’s 24 was part of a Class III district. Prior to this, Fisher’s 24 was a Class I district within a Class VI system.
