DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Callaway Public School District is a class III school system located in the town of Callaway in Custer County. The Junior-Senior High School is made up of students in grades seven through twelve. Students receive instruction in the areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Reading, Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, Business, Fine Arts (Art, Music), Physical Education, Foreign Language and Social Studies. In addition students have the opportunity to take courses for college credit. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Special Education services are coordinated by the Sandhills Educational Services Coop, part of the Broken Bow school district.
