DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
South Sioux City High School, home of the Cardinals, serves approximately 1200 students in grades 9-12 in a traditional 4x4 block schedule. To prepare students with the skills and knowledge to successfully compete in a complex, global society, the school strives to actively engage all students through relevant and comprehensive standards-based curriculum, integrating 21st century skills, tools, contexts, and assessments. A variety of supports are provided for students who need additional time or instruction in order to succeed at high levels. In addition to academics, students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities including athletics, music, and drama.
