Covington is the academic home to nearly 380 first through fifth grade students. We celebrate our diversity and the unique strengths our students bring through focusing on individual student growth. Our school has a strong sense of community with the desire for continuous improvement. The Covington staff is a committed group of professional educators who continually focus on instructional strategies that positively impact student learning. Through the use of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) our staff collaborates on a weekly basis to monitor student progress in key areas. In addition to valuing education, parents of the Covington students are active in our school PTA, support the home reading program, attend school activities and conferences.
