DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Lexington Middle School consists of two teams of core teachers in Grades 6, 7, & 8, and the Exploratory Subjects (Art, Music, Computer Science, Consumer Science, Health, and Physical Education). Technology is available to students through district issued iPads provided to each student. Approximately 690 students are served by a curriculum delivery service that offers learning experiences for ALL students including High Ability students, English Language Learners, and Special Education Students. Teachers and staff work collectively to provide an educational opportunity that reflect the needs of every student and supports the District’s mission statement. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities in addition to community activities. An after school enrichment program is offered to provide additional help to students.
