DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Bryan Elementary School is the K-5 dual language program where teachers provide high quality, direct and explicit instruction in Spanish and English. Through the dual language program, students develop their critical thinking skills to become proficient in speaking, reading, listening, and writing in Spanish and English. Students are given the opportunity to positively influence their community through a diverse and multicultural education. Curriculum is presented equally in Spanish and English to all students including High Ability Learners, English Language Learners, and Special Education students. A variety of programs and support services are available which include: Dual Language Immersion, Reading Intervention, Speech Therapy, inclusion, and Counseling. Teachers and staff work collectively to provide educational and afterschool program opportunities that reflect the diverse needs of every student and support the District's mission statement.
