The Cozad Middle School is AdvancED accredited. The Cozad Community School system is currently involved in a continuos school improvement process. The Cozad Community Schools has adopted a comprehensive curriculum review process. The focus of this process is to identify what students should know or be able to do at various stages of their educational career. The MAP test is our main assessment tool to check for growth of our students related to our state standards. All curriculums are aligned to Nebraska State Standards and/or National Standards. An important tool the faculty of Cozad Community Schools uses is the Professional Learning Community model to collaborate and continually develop curriculum. The goal of each PLC is to examine curriculum to ensure a meaningful and appropriate instruction of our curriculum for all students. Cozad Community School has adopted the Marzano's Instructional Model and completed its second year of training.
