DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

There are currently three sections of Preschool located at this site. The renovations and additions to this site were completed in the Fall 2008. The addition provided additional education space for the Preschool program. The student population at this site is approximately 60 students. The building has a gymnasium and cafeteria. They provide music and library in their classrooms. The preschool teachers do home visits through out the year to the families of the preschool students. The Preschool also participates in PLC's for the district. The goal of each PLC is to examine curriculum to ensure a meaningful and appropriate instruction of our curriculum for all students. Cozad Community School has adopted the Marzano's Instructional Model and will be in its second year of training.
