DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

There are currently three sections of PreKindergarten located at this site. The renovations and additions to this site were completed in Fall 2008. The addition provided additional educational space for the PreKindergarten program. The student population at this site is approximately 60 students. The building has a gymnasium and cafeteria. They provide music and library in their classrooms. The teachers do home visits through out the year for all students. The PreKindergarten also participates in Professional Learning Communities for the district. The goal of each PLC is to examine curriculum to ensure a meaningful and appropriate instruction of our curriculum for all students. Cozad Community School has adopted the Marzano's Instructional Model and completed its second year of training.
