The Creek Valley District is a Rural Consolidated Class III School serving the communities of Chappell and Lodgepole. Chappell is located on Highway 30 in Deuel County. Lodgepole is located on Highway 30 in Cheyenne County. The 2010 census indicated a population of 929 people in Chappell, and a population of 318 in Lodgepole. Creek Valley Middle School serves grades 5-8 with a 2014-2015 enrollment of 77 students. C.V.M.S is located in Lodgepole. Students participate in an 8 period day and experience a variety of course offerings. The staff of Creek Valley Schools currently consists of 26.5 certified employees, 24 non-certified employees, and 3 administrators. The number of employees holding a Master’s Degree in the district is 5. Many staff members serve in multiple school sites.
